LSU ASDA will be hosting How-to-DDS: Do Dental School, a student-led, focused session geared towards helping pre-dental students on their journeys to dental school. What separates our event from other pre-dental seminars is that we are offering hands-on experience with handpieces and restoration materials guided by current students. We also have a smaller group size, so our attendees will have more time interacting with current dental students and other pre-dental students.
Please join us at the LSU School of Dentistry on either April 6, 2019 or May 11, 2019 from 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. with registration beginning at 8:00AM. The cost will be $40 (ASDA member) or $50 (non-ASDA member) and will include all materials, a t-shirt, lunch, and much more!
Spots are limited to the first 30 applicants per session, so sign up quickly using the links below!

What should I wear to How to DDS?
Professional attire/business casual should be worn to our seminars! This year we are offering headshots that you can use on your applications; therefore, you’ll want to be dressed nicely for your picture.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
No, all materials will be given for the sessions.
Do all schools use chalk carving for admissions?
No, this is something unique to the admissions process at LSUSD! Hand skills are very important in dentistry, and it is always good to practice.
I filled out the registration form on the website, but is my registration complete?
No, your registration is not complete nor is your spot reserved until your payment of $40 (ASDA member) or $50 (non-ASDA member) is sent either by venmo: @LSU-ASDA (*preferred method) or paypal: email@example.com (please use the “friends and family” payment option when using paypal). After your payment is sent, you will receive a confirmation email from us! Then you are good to go!
